Sources have revealed the real reason behind the shock divorce between Hollywood superstars, Brad Pitt, 52, and Angelina Jolie, 41.

According to reports, Angelina’s focus on humanitarian work and pursuit of a position in the United Nations, which included taking the couple’s six children with her while she travelled, was causing problems with Brad.

The movie hunk had become increasingly anxious over Angelina’s political ambitions and he was upset she had taken their children to various troubled countries such as Lebanon and Iraq.

The source continued that though Pitt was always supportive of Jolie’s solo charity work, traveling with their children was causing tension between the couple.

Meanwhile Angelina has reportedly taken a step back from directing Africa, an £85 million biopic which tells the story of archaeologist Dr. Richard Leakey who led the fight to end elephant poaching, to avoid working with soon-to-be ex-husband Pitt.
