It’s now a lifetime ago that Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins shot to teen superstardom in the racy 1980 film adaptation of The Blue Lagoon.
The picture did wonders for both of their careers, with Brooke – who was, shockingly, just 14 during filming – becoming the face of the earlier part of the decade, and Christopher… appearing in The Pirate Movie!
The good news is that things ended up happy for both stars, with Brooke – now aged 51 – achieving a solid acting career and raising a family, while successfully overcoming a battle with postpartum depression, and Christopher, now 55, also raising a family, surviving divorce and overseeing an outdoor sports company.
