This morning, Bindi took to Instagram to share a photo of her late father, Steve Irwin along with her mother, Terri Irwin and brother Robert Irwin.

November 15. #SteveIrwinDay. Wear your khaki with us as we celebrate the world’s greatest Wildlife Warrior and my superhero❤️” she wrote in the caption.

Today, the family will follow in Steve’s footsteps and feed the crocodiles at Australia Zoo, according to the Australia Zoo website.

Ahead of the 2011 celebration of Steve Irwin day, Bindi shared several touching words about her late father.

“We think of daddy every day, and are carrying on in his footsteps,” the 21-year-old said. “I learned so much from my dad, he taught me new things every day… He inspires me to continue to fight for what I believe in every day and to never give up. I am so lucky to have my mum and brother there for me too; they’re always giving me support.”

Bindi also plans to honour her late father on her wedding day, when she marries long-term boyfriend Chandler Powell.

“I really want to include Dad on the day and make sure that he is with us in some way,” the 21-year-old told People last month.

“We’ll be able to all get up as a little family and light a candle in his honour and share a few words on what an amazing dad he was and still is.”

With that being said, it appears that the Crocodile Hunter is never far from his daughter’s thoughts.
