The countdown has begun!

The Bachelor season seven is one week away and Australia cannot wait to see what astrophysicist Matt Agnew brings to the show.

In preparation for The Bachelor we thought we would take a trip down memory lane and visit all those couples from the cult reality TV show that we loved, and those that we loathed.

Here are all The Bachelor couples ranked from ‘never should have been together’ worst to ‘it’s true love’ best

5. Blake Garvey and Sam Frost

We should think this one is pretty obvious, and we blame it solely on walking disaster Blake Garvey.

The forever sweet Sam Frost did not deserve the brutal ending – being proposed too during the finale, only to be immediately broken up with for you friend/runner-up – but in 2014 that’s what we got.

Unfortunately for Blake, he quickly earned himself the unpleasant nickname ‘love rat’ and his public profile has never quite recovered.

4. Richie Strahan and Alex Nation

I think it’s safe to say that no one expected The Bachelorette runner-up Richie to pick Alex Nation, but that he did.

The relationship lasted barely a year and was a messy end, the exes even faced off on 2019’s season of Bachelor in Paradise in one of the tensest on-air convos we’ve ever seen.

However, it’s not all doom an gloom!

Richie and Alex did bring us the most iconic date in Bachelor history, that chocolate bath.

3. Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich

The OG Bachie couple!

We wish we could put Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich higher (as they are as cute as the day we met them) but for whatever reason, their fairytale romance doesn’t grab us as much as the top two.

We would like to add that although they don’t take out the top spot on this list, their nuptials win ‘The Most Beautiful Bachie Wedding’ award, hands down.

2. Matty J and Laura Byrne

We saw Matty J’s heart get smashed into a million pieces on Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette, so seeing sweet Matty fall head over heels in love for the future mother of his child was a real joy.

The couple moved in together in mid-2018 and welcomed their first daughter together, Marlie-Mae Rose Johnson, on June 20th this year.

1. Snezana Wood (neè Markoski) and Sam Wood

These two will forever hold a special place in our hearts as the most wholesome and beautiful couple in Aussie Bachelor history.

The producer’s on Sam Wood’s season really tried to convince us that at least some of the other girls had a chance, but it quickly became clear to those sitting at home that Sam only had eyes for Snezana

Do we all remember when Sam couldn’t control himself and accidentally kissed Snez in front of ALL the other girls at the cocktail party? Us too, and it was the damn near the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.

After the Bachie finale, Snez and her daughter from a previous marriage, Eve, left Perth to live with Sam in Melbourne.

Soon after the fitness guru soon proposed to his lady love.

The couple married in November last year and have had a daughter together, Willow.

Snez and Sam are now expecting their second child.
