On last seasons The Bachelor Australia, leading man Matty J made no secret of his desire to settle down and start a family with whoever was to win the coveted prize of his heart.
But it appears that Laura Byrne, the marketing exec’s lucky winner, has no desire to move in with Matty just yet.
‘I’ve just signed another year on my lease so I’ll be there for a while,’ the jewellery designer told an Australian publication.
An insider close to the pair also told the publication, ‘Going on The Bachelor, Matty wanted to settle down and start a family as soon as possible.’
But, it should be noted that even if Laura isn’t ready to move in with her new beau, she has previously hinted that Matty and her have spoken about having kids before marriage.
‘I’m not a traditionalist in that I think that you need to be married [to have children],’ Laura admitted to the magazine.
