US Bachelorette star Michael Nance died from a drug overdose, Radar Online reports.
According to Texas’ Travis County Medical Examiner Office, the 31-year-old had cocaine, heroin and pills in his system at the time of his death.
The shocking autopsy report also states that the budding musician had “demonstrated punctate needle puncture-like marks” on his arms, and a history of “opiate abuse, hypogonadism and anxiety.”
His former co-star, Arie Luyendyk Jr., previously admitted that his friend had suffered from addiction issues but was living in a sober home before his relapse.
Nance – who competed for a chance to win the heart of Emily Maynard on season eight of the ABC show – was found “unresponsive” in the early hours of May 29.
His tragic passing was first confirmed on Facebook by his sister, Misty.
“My precious mother and Michael,” she captioned a throwback snap of the pair.
“We are all terribly heartbroken, but as a parent this is your worst nightmare. Our lives will never be the same.”
