After stints on the Bachelor, I’m a Celebrity and Bachelor in Paradise, New Idea can reveal that reality TV queen Keira Maguire is preparing to return to our screens yet again, only this time as a contestant on Channel Ten’s Dancing With The Stars.
“She’s been in talks with the network,” dishes an industry insider, adding the blonde beauty is perfect for the show.
“Keira has a dance background and that appeals to producers.”
News of Keira’s new gig comes just weeks after the 32-year-old admitted she wanted to appear on the series.
“I need to step away from dating games and I feel like I want to do something a little lighthearted and fun,” she told The Daily Telegraph earlier this year.
“Dancing With The Stars is coming and that is something that would actually challenge me and besides, it is a great way to get super fit.”
And while she will always be known for her honest opinions Keira has another surprising trick up her sleeve.
“She can actually dance,” says the friend. “She was in the Australia Dance Theatre Group so chances are she could win it.”
Channel Ten announced it was bring back one of Australia’s favourite shows back in July with Grant Denyer and Amanda Keller set to host.
“This series will be much bigger, more glamorous and dazzling than ever. Australia has never seen dancing this spectacular,” Grant said at the time.
“Get ready for something truly outstanding. I’m so happy I’m crying sequins down my fake tanned cheeks.”
