George and Amal Clooney to attend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding

George and Amal Clooney are attending the Royal Wedding!

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the Hollywood star and his lawyer wife will be attending the nuptials as well as the private evening reception at Frogmore House on Saturday.

“Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while,” confirms the source. The insider reveals that the two women were introduced by a mutual friend and share “many interests.”

With hours to go, Kensington Palace announced that Meghan, 36, will walk to the altar on her wedding day with her future father-in-law, Prince Charles.
