The Queen recently extended a Christmas invite to Meghan Markle’s mum Doria.
And now speculation is mounting that the kind gesture to the Duchess of Sussex’s mother may lead to her making a permanent move to the UK.
Doria Ragland, 62, reportedly impressed senior royals with her demeanour at the wedding of her daughter and Prince Harry.
And now the social worker may move to the UK for good – according to the UK’s Daily Express.
A senior royal source told the publication that the unique move was “a very thoughtful gesture”.
“It’s a mark of the Queen’s respect for Meghan and an acknowledgement that she doesn’t have any other relations in this country – unlike Kate who has the support of a very close family,” the source added.
