Prince Harry has taken to Instagram to share a very personal and heartfelt message about his upcoming tour to South Africa where he will be joined by his wife and son.
“In just a few weeks our family will be taking it’s first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past decades has been a second home to me. Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we’re so excited to share with you,” he shared along with a series of photos.
“On a personal note, I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa. We’ll see all of you very soon.”
Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting South Africa at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office earlier this year via social media.
“The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the commonwealth and beyond. This will be their first official tour as a family!”
The continent has special meaning for the royal couple, as Meghan and Harry took a romantic trip to Botswana before getting engaged.
