The past year may have been difficult for the Danish royal family, but for Princess Mary, 2019 promises to be a wonderful year.
There are rumours the Crown Princess of Denmark could be expecting her fifth child, as the Tasmanian-born royal stepped out with what looked like a prominent baby bump last week.
The 46-year-old appeared content and happy to be possibly welcoming another little one to her brood. Now that her youngest children are 8 years old and growing up fast, Mary may be looking forward to another baby.

“Mary was always content with having just the four children, but after a really tough 2018 she decided that having another baby was just what she and Fred needed,” a source tells New Idea.
Having been rocked by Crown Prince Frederik’s father’s death, and all the divorce rumours swirling about them, it’s been the toughest year in their marriage so far. Whispers around the palace say it was Mary’s idea to try and bring some joy to their lives with another child.

According to sources, her husband is shocked but delighted by a possible new addition to the family, as the couple had only been trying for a short time.
If she is indeed expecting, she would be around 8-10 weeks.
“They’re both shocked – but very happy. This is exactly what they were hoping for,” adds the source.
