‘Nicks management team argued over everything, which photos to use, what he could wear, which interviews he could do, whether his moustache had to go, how often his shirt could come off. They never stopped and it really held things up,’ our source dishes.
Not only are producers left dealing with Nick’s demands, just days into season six it seems fellow contestants are already feeling threatened by Brooke Blurton from Perth, who is rumoured to land the first kiss of the series.
‘I am a little bit concerned about Brooke,’ Cat, 24, reveals in an upcoming episode.
‘I can definitely see that he likes her and they’re very flirty and seem to have good chemistry. It is very concerning.’
It turns out Cat’s not the only one keen to give Brooke the boot, with 25-year-old Alisha also expressing her dislike for the sports fanatic.
‘They look very in love,’ the former political staffer says.
‘I am a bit jealous. This is the Brooke and Nick show…save some for the rest of us.’
Meanwhile, Nick admits there is a definite spark with Brooke and he is looking forward to spending more time with her.
‘I’m excited about where it could go,’ the 30-year-old rugby star reveals. ‘She [Brooke] is a beautiful being and a great catch.’
But in a bid to steer ‘The Honey Badger’ away from Brooke, this week the other women will pull out all the stops – desperate to score some alone time with the handsome larrikin. And it’s not long before things get heated when three of the ladies go head-to-head in a war of words, as tension mounts at the infamous cocktail party when Nick sweeps one lucky lady away for a secret chat – infuriating the others.
‘She is so boring,’ says one woman of the other. ‘She is so vain. I was just excited for him to see her s*** personality.’
Another adds: ‘I have heard her say she is not that into him.’
