As Henry and Anna pelt each other with a beach ball, it’s clear the competition is fierce between the brother and sister.
But, something else that’s glaringly obvious is the close friendship they forged as youngsters, thanks to growing up on a truffle farm outside of Launceston in Tasmania.
Just two years apart in age, the siblings reveal they are also very close with their parents, Tim and Adele.
‘We’re best mates,’ Anna, 24, tells New Idea.
Henry, 26, adds: ‘I think the only fight would have been over the front seat when we were little kids!’
Luckily for Henry, when it came to MKR, Anna was more than willing to play the role of protective sister at the Instant Restaurant table.
The popular duo reveal all about those love rumours…
Anna, how did you feel about Sonya and Louisa cracking onto Henry at the Instant Restaurants?
Anna: I had to be on my game – on my toes the whole time. It was tough! At first it was fun to have a little bit of a stir, but then it got to the point where it was like: ‘OK girls, I don’t think he’s digging you back, can you just pipe down.’ I was just quite confronted, I guess. It’s not my approach to getting a bloke’s attention.
What kind of girl do you want to see your brother with?
Anna: I just want Henry with someone down-to-earth and willing to have a crack at things. Someone who makes him happy and is good to him is all I could want for him. I want a good one! I hang out with Henry all the time, so I better like her.
Henry, what is your type?
Henry: I don’t have a type! Just someone who can really be themselves and that comes in all sorts of forms. Hopefully there’s someone out there who is my ideal partner.
Henry, what do you have to say about the rumours that you’re secretly dating Group One’s Jazzey?
Henry: It’s been interesting to see the rumours. Let’s just say I think they’re probably a little bit far-fetched, but you’ll have to wait and see.
And what about Louisa and Sonya? They’ve made their feelings pretty obvious!
Henry: I was shattered. They didn’t muck about. They’re pretty forward. The conversations got a bit awkward and Anna would divert the conversation perfectly. Thank God I had her. It was good, she took the pressure off me.
And what about you, Anna, are you still single? ANNA I’m not single anymore!
Henry: New one for you.
Anna: I’m very smitten, very. He’s a farm boy, who I actually knew before. He’s lovely.
