Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power might have eyes for Daniel Webb on the show.
But now, it has been claimed that she had a secret boyfriend back home in Perth while she was filming the show in Sydney.
According to the Daily Mail, Jessika was constantly texting and calling 26-year-old business owner, Steven James throughout the whole process.
What’s more Jessika reportedly assured Steven that she still wanted him when she returned home.
“Jessika told Steven that MAFS was the opportunity of a lifetime and she only said yes to boost her profile,” a source told the publication.
The reality star met Steven back in 2017 before they briefly broke up in March 2018, but, the couple “continued seeing each other casually” until she began filming Married At First Sight.
And, it’s believed that she even rang him for support during the early days of her marriage to Mick.
“Although there was never anything between her and Mick, the pressure of the situation did really get to her,” the source said.
“But when Steven suggested just coming home, she’d say things like, ‘I may as well see the show through until the end’, but promised she loved him and wanted him.
Of course, her crush on Daniel made things complicated.
“When Jessika returned to Perth and went to see Steven she explained the whole situation with Dan,” claimed the source.
“She tried to explain that producers had set everything up between them and they had only kissed, but Steven basically just kicked her out.”
