Married At First Sight‘s Martha Kalifatidis has revealed she plans to leave the country after she says she’s in fact the victim of digital trolling.

The 30-year-old makeup artist told TV Week she has received ‘thousands’ of hateful messages on social media as a result of her portrayal on the show.

‘I’m trying to deal with it but I’m definitely struggling,’ she then continued to add that she is considering spending time overseas until things blow over.

Martha describes how she has been continually trolled by haters for supporting her friend Jessika Power during her affair with Daniel Webb.

‘My phone was blowing up. I received about 1,000 messages. I was about to throw it against the wall. People forget it’s entertainment. They take it so seriously,’ Martha said.

‘I’ve had death threats, people commenting… I just can’t wait for [the drama] to end.’

It comes just after a MAFS insider revealed that Martha received a better on-screen edit then she deserved.

‘Martha is the biggest pot-stirrer I’ve ever met,’ said an on-set source.

‘She would gossip non-stop just to get attention, and because she was so bored in her own relationship [with Michael Brunelli]’.

The source added that Martha was, in fact, the queen bee of the MAFS ‘mean girls’ clique, which also included Ines Basic and Jessika Power.

‘Martha would try to pry into everything and cause problems,’ the source said.

Following all the online drama, despite all odds, Martha posted this gram with her man, hand in hand with her caption directed at those haters.

‘We don’t care what you think about us…. we don’t think about you at all! #MAFS’, she said.

Well, it looks like she could be dealing with the drama a lot better than anticipated.
