Eden Dally and Erin Barnett are the reality TV lovebirds who met each other on Love Island Australia. Here’s the truth behind what happened to the couple.
How old are Erin and Eden?
Erin Barnett, 23 and Eden Dally, 25, met on the set of Love Island Australia they didn’t win the show yet they were popular runner ups.
What was their jobs before going on the show?
Erin is a nurse from Sydney and Eden is a prison officer from Melbourne. Erin also appeared on reality TV show Beauty And The Geek before going on Love Island Australia.
The self titled ‘naughty nurse’ was on the show in 2013 before it was axed a year later.
Eden and Grant’s fight
The Love Island Australia villa heated up when Eden and Grant Crapp engaged in a shocking punch-up.
Fueled by Eden’s decision to send fellow islander Justin home in favour of Jaxon, the pair came to blows, only to be pulled apart by Dom and Josh.
Grant, Tayla and Eden continued to argue amongst themselves, before the two grabbed each other’s shirt’s and began a heated fight.
Later, talking to camera, Millie said that the altercation had gone ‘too far’ while Josh called the night ‘really intense.’
A regretful Eden also spoke candidly to the camera, admitting that ‘it was a stupid thing that happened.’
Are Erin and Eden still together?
After leaving the show, the couple confessed they were already keen to get married start a family.
“We want two kids, I want a boy and a little girl,” Eden told WHO in August, “Erin has a feeling we’ll have twins.”
Despite their plans, the couple’s relationship didn’t last with the pair announcing they had broken up just a month later.
“We wanted to share with you, that after much deliberation, we have quietly parted ways. We look back and cherish the time we have spent together, the memories we have created, in both Spain and in Australia,” they shared on their Instagram accounts.
“We can’t thank each and everyone of you enough, for the support and love you have shown us, but we have to be honest within ourselves as we realise that our forever as a couple, is no longer. We look forward to supporting each other moving forward and remain best friends.”
Although the couple didn’t reveal the reasons behind their split, Erin dropped a hint when asked by a fan.
“A leopard never changes its spots.”
“Just wasn’t meant to be,” she added.
Eden and domestic violence claims
Erin claimed that part of the breakup was due to domestic violence. She posted a video on YouTube and said that she suffered physical abuse.
Eden later released a statement:
I have a heavy heart writing this statement, but I’d like to address Erin’s comments about me and our relationship. While I won’t go into detail about each false claim, I would like to say that the aggressive, threatening, and angry person Erin’s painted me as is not a true reflection of who I am. I’m a fun-loving, light-hearted guy who cares deeply about and would do anything for his family and friends. While I do believe Erin and I bring out the worst in one another, I would never dream of using her personal struggles against her to boost my public image or gain followers. I have never been abusive nor have I ever laid hands on Erin in an aggressive nature. I never tried to kill Erin or myself in my car as she claims.
I struggle with emotions and I am one of thousands of Aussie men who battle with anxiety and depression. Erin has exposed aspects of my inner demons without giving the whole story and the scrutiny and hate I’ve received through social media and day-to-day life has taken its toll on my relationships, employment, and mental health. I regret the ugly way this has played out in the media and I am devastated that our fairy-tale romance had such a heartbreaking ending.

Who is Erin with now?
On November 2, Erin confirmed she had found love with someone else. When asked if she was better with him than Eden she told the Daily Mail ‘Oh way better!
‘I should have split up with him earlier,’ she added.
‘He’s a f***ing d*** to be honest. I’m fine with it now.’
And on November 6, Eden was seen kissing blonde woman Misel Burford at The Melbourne Cup.
He said that he was still single and was upset with Erin for saying he was a cheat.
What are they doing now?
Erin appears to be happy dating her mystery man and continues her Instagram modelling. She was recently pictured promoting Bondi Boost.
Eden also appears to be Instagram modelling with him last seen promoting organic skincare company Kinggs on the social media platform.
He does not appear to have a new girlfriend.
