Dannii Minogue has been a valued member of The Masked Singer’s judging panel ever since Network Ten launched the series back in 2019.

However, doubt has been cast on whether Dannii, 50, will return this year, after New Idea’s top TV insider confirmed the pop sensation had “recently inked a deal” with rival network Channel 7.

It’s believed Dannii will lend her presenting skills to a “top-secret” new program that the network plans to air later in the year.
“It could be a case of Dannii being on a very flexible contract,” tells the source, who explains that some celebrities are able to work across networks on a case-by-case basis.
While it’s yet to be seen whether Dannii will defect to Seven, it’s certain the network has a soft spot for the singer, who starred on their former reality stalwarts, The X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent.

While insiders confirm Dannii’s new project is definitely not a reality series, they tease it is, in fact, a “return” of an old favourite.
Dannii’s future at Ten is uncertain, but one thing is definite: she’ll always have a place on Aussie screens.
