Former The Bachelor star, and newcomer on Channel 10’s Bachelor in Paradise, Abbie Chatfield has revealed she will be the same unfiltered, authentic woman Australia met the first time around.

“I think when you’re on TV, you’re a one-dimensional character. And my character was overtly sexual and confident, and to a lot of people that equals b–ch,” Abbie told New Idea. “But I already am worried about how the edits are going to go.”
Rumours first arose that Abbie would be starring on Bachelor in Paradise when the 24-year-old was snapped at Brisbane Airport.
According to a report by The Daily Mail, Abbie was preparing to board a flight to Fiji and was spotted wheeling a suitcase through the terminal.

In a new trailer for the upcoming season, it’s clear that Abbie has her eyes on one particular breakout star from Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette.
“As the rest of Australia does, I have a bit of a crush on Ciarran. I came here for Ciarran,” Abbie says in the trailer.
“He’s hot and he’s such a naughty boy. I think he’s great, he and I are really compatible.”

Cassandra Mamone, another Paradise 2020 contestant, also hinted that Abbie’s pursuit of Ciarran will be a prominent storyline.
“Abbie works fast, she definitely came in here knowing what she wanted and Abbie generally gets what she wants,” the season seven Bachelor contestant says in the trailer.
“I think if she wants Ciarran nothing’s gonna hold her back.”
