The Texas mum who fired bullets into her two daughters, did so to spite her husband, Jason Sheats, claims a friend.
Family friend Madison Davey told ABC 13 Jason challenged Christy during a family meeting, telling her to ‘just shoot yourself.’
‘Make it easy on all of us, just shoot yourself,’ Davey told the station.
Christy apparently replied, ‘No, that’s not what this is about, this is about punishing you,’” Davey said.
‘I always knew something would happen, but I never thought she would do this. Christy was toxic for the family. She was mentally unstable,’ she added.
Christy called a family meeting on Friday before fatally shooting her two daughters, Madison, 17, and Taylor, 22.
‘On this particular day, she asked him to say ‘sorry’ for this argument. He said, ‘Don’t threaten me like that. Don’t say those things to me,’ ” Davey said. “And then she says ‘OK, I’ll call a family meeting.’”
Christy pulled out a gun and shot several bullets into her daughters who had run into the street.
