Point Break star Teresa Palmer is 16 weeks pregnant with her second child but the actress has revealed she endured a cancer scare prior to the pregnancy.
The actress, who has a son with her husband Mark Webber, says the pair went to the doctor to see an ultrasound of their baby only to learn the news was far more worrying.
‘Then came the absolute kick in the guts – we went to the doc for our heartbeat ultrasound … I’m so sorry but there is no baby,’ Teresa says the doctor told them.
‘So you have the symptoms of being pregnant but really it’s just a potentially cancerous tumour that grows, no baby,’ she wrote in a blog post.
The 30-year-old mum is now fine and her second child is due in November.
