Serena Williams has shown off her newborn bub on Instagram for the first time.
The 35-year-old also announced the name of her adorable daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, who’s named after her fiancé Alexis Ohanian.
WPBF-25 news producer Chris Shepherd announced that Serena had given birth earlier on in September, tweeting: ‘Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well.’
The Telegraph reports that the baby was delivered at St. Mary’s Medical Centre in West Palm Beach, near the 35-year-old’s home.
Serena famously bore all to Vanity Fair in a revealing photoshoot back in June.
It was revealed that the star was three weeks pregnant when she beat her sister Venus to win the Australian Open back in January, and the 23-time grand slam champion said she hopes to return for the Australian Open next year.
‘I am looking forward to becoming a mother and coming back to the courts already,’ she told The Telegraph earlier this year. ‘I’m always thinking about what’s next: the next victory, the next trophy.’
