Massive Aussie newborn breaks record

Meet the incredible Maisie Lily Macdonald.

A Queensland baby has smashed a record as the biggest baby born at Rockhampton Hospital.

Maisie Lily Macdonald weight in at 13 pounds 4 ounces (6.02kgs), and is the couple’s second child.

The average baby is said to weigh 3-4kg.

When Maisie arrived one week early on Monday, doting dad Mason shared his excitement to friends and family on Facebook.

‘Welcome to the world and the family ya massive newborn,’ he wrote.
