The father whose children were murdered by their mum has delivered a heartfelt message after he buried his daughters.
‘If you have loved ones, tell them you love them every day and give them a hug because you never know it might be your last day,’ Jason Sheats told friends at family at the funeral, according to local TV station WAFF-TV.
Madison, 17, and Taylor, 22, were shot and killed by their mother, Kristy Sheats at their Texas home on June 24.
Sheats had called a family meeting before the shooting.
It was later revealed, Sheats murdered her children to spite their father, a family friend reported.
Madison Davey told ABC 13, Sheats apparently told Jason, ‘This is about punishing you.’
Christy Sheats was not buried with her daughters, and it is unknown where her grave will be.
