JK Rowling Sends Flowers to Orlando Victim’s Funeral

The author sent flowers and a handwritten note to the funeral.

Author J.K. Rowling sent flowers and a note to the funeral of one of the victims of the Orlando massacre.

Luis Vielma, 22, worked on the “Harry Potter” ride at Universal Orlando and was one of 49 people killed in the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub last week.

The 50-year-old author took to Twitter to share her devastation.

Rowling sent a wreath of red flowers and a note to the church where Vielma’s funeral was held.

“To Luis, who died for love,” Rowling’s handwritten note read. “You will never be forgotten. 

Vielma’s family revealed working at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter ride was a “dream of all dreams come true” for the youngster.
