She recently shared snaps of herself in the front row of New York Fashion Week – wearing a chic, over-sized long-sleeve shirt.
And on Friday Jasmine Yarbrough, 34, – who is co-founder of shoe designers Mara & Mine – shared another snap with her 18,000 social media followers – a rather cryptic one, featuring three baby bottles and a backdrop of sparkling wine.
Jasmine, who is engaged to Today host Karl Stefanovic, 43, didn’t elaborate on what the post meant – but to many mothers it may bring back memories of the advice given to pregnant women not to drink wine.
The cryptic message came as Karl confirmed the pair are engaged – telling The Fix they are likely to wed this year.
‘When Jasmine came into my life, I had no thoughts of new love or the future, but we are happy and grateful we found each other,’ he said.
‘We are yet to work out when we will get married, but probably later this year. We are both very happy.’
Karl recently shared a throwback photo of the loved-up pair with their arms around each other on a beach.
‘You can spend a lot on flowers or just grab a couple of cold ones,’ Karl wrote on Valentine’s Day – referring to the fact they were both holding bottles of beer.
Earlier Karl had told the Daily Telegraph he was keen to keep the news of his engagement private: ‘It’s one thing to be seen around town and stuff (wearing the ring) but this (speaking about it) is another thing — some things are okay to keep private.’
‘There’s got to be some time here that we have to enjoy to ourselves and with our family,’ he added.
Karl’s ex meanwhile has spoken about the news – saying it ‘doesn’t register with me on any other level’.
‘I am just focused on helping those affected by the ever-changing landscape of my ex-husband’s life, to navigate it,’ Cassandra Thorburn – Karl’s former wife of 21 years – told Fairfax Media.
