Jadon and Anias McDonald, aged 13 months, captured the world’s attention after their parents, Nicole and Christian, shared the pictures of them.

The pair, conjoined at the skull, are making a good recovery. Jadon was reportedly stable throughout the surgery and is reacting to people and starting to smile.

Nicole wrote movingly on Facebook: ‘When I stand at your bedside, Jadon, it’s almost as if Anias is still there. Anias, when I leaned over you I protected my hair from Jadon. But the view is still the same.’
