Channel Nine reporter Laura Turner has welcomed twin daughters!
The journalist shared her happy news to Instagram, captioning: “Welcome to the world our beautiful girls.”
“Twins Isabel Leslie McPherson and Matilda Skye McPherson were born via emergency c section last night.
“It was a dramatic rush due to placenta abruption, and we had a huge scare but they’re here now and doing well in the NICU. Dad is totally in love and so is mum.”
Last week Turner was admitted to the emergency room with “stabbing pains” in her stomach.
After seven hours of tests, doctors diagnosed a stomach bug.
“One of the tests investigated whether I was likely to go into labour in the next week. The answer was no,” Turner wrote on 9Honey’s #Twinning column.
