BREAKING: Former wife of 'Underbelly' figure Carl Williams arrested

Roberta Williams, the former wife of gangland figure Carl Williams, has been arrested in Melbourne.

According to 9News, Roberta, 66, has been arrested as apart of an investigation into an alleged kidnapping incident that took place in Collingwood.

Footage obtained by 9News shows Roberta being led away from her Melbourne home by police in handcuffs.

According to reports, a man – who was involved in a reality show following Roberta and her daughter – was kidnapped and held at gunpoint after being asked to pay $20,000.

9News reports that one man has already been charged in relation to the kidnapping, but released on bail.

Roberta has been taken into custody but no formal charges have been made.
