Casually dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, Chris walked slowly down the rear stairs of the plane and onto the tarmac.
Flanked by detectives, the now-70-year-old was then escorted into a waiting car.

Before noon, Chris arrived at Sydney Police Centre, in Surry Hills in the back seat of a car.
Sitting next to a detective, Chris showed no emotion as waiting media took pictures.
He was later formally charged with murder.
Media waited outside the court Central Local Court from about 10am hoping to catch a glimpse of the former sports star. His lawyer than addressed awaiting media after a short court proceeding.
Dawson appeared in court via Video link. He did not apply for bail today but his lawyer Greg Walsh indicated he will make an application next week.

“I worked most of the night and today to try and read as much as I can. But it’s a very important application for bail…it has to be assessed properly… there’s no need rushing in cases like this,” the lawyer said.
Mr Walsh also indicated Dawson will plead not guilty and expressed concerns over whether his client would receive a fair trial.
Lynette Dawson vanished in in January 1982.
