David Higgins has come out and said that despite the common phrase 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day', it's actually highly overrated. Higgins reveals that Robbie follows in intermittent fasting diet, and only eats for an eight hour window everyday.
Higgins told Insider: "Sometimes you don't need to have breakfast."
David, whose other celeb clients include supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, continued: "The whole 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day' thing is a 1940s marketing campaign to sell eggs. That's what we've all been raised to believe."
Intermittent fasting is centred around not eating 16 hours of the day, which means skipping breakfast, eating lunch at noon and having your last meal by 8 pm.
David said: "You're not going to be consuming as much because you don't have the time to consume it. But then you also do allow your body that time to recover and digest and not have to overwork with your metabolism."
Margot Robbie, 28, has previously spoken about her relaxed approach to dieting, admitting that when she’s not prepping for a part, she’s a burger and wine kind of girl.
The Suicide Squad actress told Emirates Woman: “I get miserable if I don’t eat. I can’t just have a salad every day and a half a glass of wine every second day. I can’t do it,”
