Here are 7 ways to dress yourself younger:

Pick your colours wisely

According to Rosie it’s important you build a core wardrobe with neutral colour palette that won’t date.

‘Colours like white, black, grey, nude, navy, cream, tan, khaki and brown are timeless and also work well together to create classic, refined looks that follow a minimal aesthetic that will keep your look fresh,’ she says.

Pick the right cut

Rosie says strong, simple lines and well-tailored pieces are key to creating a modern look. ‘A tailored suit with a well-cut blazer and smart trouser should be a staple. Suiting is no longer just reserved for the office so there are some great options to choose from in textured fabrics that can really elevate your style,’ she says.

‘Of course, when choosing cuts, your body shape should always be considered, but generally speaking an A-line skirt and an elegant sheath dress are two styles every woman should own,’ Rosie adds.

Choose patterns

Rosie says eye-catching patterns are a great way to dress younger. ‘This season I would say the best ones to try are polka dots, leopard print, chain print, stripes and snake print. Even just adding a touch with a shoe or bag can modernize your outfit,’ she says.

Show your shoulders

Want to feel young and vibrant? Rosie recommends you opt for an off-the-shoulder top. ‘One of the easiest ways to shave years off is to flaunt your décolletage,’ Rosie advises.

Slip into satin

According to Rosie, adding some luxurious satin to your wardrobe is the perfect way to update your look. ‘Going super simple in a satin slip dress that throws back to the 90s is a sure-fire way to turn back the clock.

Go hell for leather

Rosie recommends you opt for leather pants to update your look.  ‘A good quality leather pant is a great choice if you want to feel edgy and cool and if you’re brave enough to give them a go, a drop-crotch pant,’ she advises.

Devil is in the detail

When it comes to tops, Rosie says details matter. ‘Look for shirting with blouson sleeves, ornate buttons or oversized pockets and shoulders. Also choose tops in more delicate fabrics like silk, chiffon and lace,’ she says.
