Irish dad shares 'life changing' dishwasher hack

Everyone’s talking about this dad’s life-changing dish washer hack

So simple.

An Irish dad has sent social media into a spin after tweeting a simple piece of dishwasher advice.

For ten years, Twitter user Mike McLoughlin says he’s been handwashing his dinner plates because they’re too large for his dishwasher. That is, until he discovered this small tip while Googling the appliance manual for another problem.

I moved into this house in 2008. It always annoyed me that the lower level of the dishwasher wasn’t tall enough to fit my biggest dinner plates. Been handwashing them all this time. This week I discovered you can raise the upper shelf and all my plates fit fine. TEN FUCKING YEARS

The reaction on social media has been positive with many admitting they had no idea this was possible.

err, not only you mate. I've been in this house 4 years and didn't realise… pic.twitter.com/rGm3EnbTTd

You may have just changed everything. We also have too-big dinner plates and an 11 year old dishwasher.
