Earlier this week, Ashy Bines took to Snapchat to reveal that she was left in tears after discovering that she had been locked out of her Instagram account which she had been utalizing over the last eight years to help build her health and fitness empire.
The entrepreneur expressed her fear of her photos and videos being erased forever as she had been documenting her best photos and memories on the social media platform.
In a tearful Snapchat story Ashy informed her followers not to respond to any direct messages on Instagram due to being hacked.
“Good afternoon everyone, sorry I’ve been crying… My Instagram profile has been hacked,” begun Ashy.

“I just wanted to let you guys know in case they reply to any of my [direct messages] or sent anything out that’s not me,”
“I really wouldn’t care if I had to start again onInstagram but I just want all of my photos so I really hope the person that is doing this doesn’t go and delete all the photos.”
Ashy managed to regain access to her Instagram account a few hours later after enlisting the help of her husband Steven Evans.
In another video, Ashy said she was grateful that her account had been recovered and said, “I totally understand there’s so much more worse things that could happen to you and what’s going on in the world,”
“But it was a bit scary because I’ve been on Instagram for about eight years now so I was documenting my best memories and my best photos,”
She concluded by saying she felt as if she had spent a lot of “time, effort, energy and love” in order to connect with her fanbase and that the prospect of losing her work was “definitely a moment of panic.”
Ashy posted an image of herself to Instagram two days and alongside it wrote a length caption that went further into the emotions she felt when her account was hacked, writing, “I think everyone can relate a little bit the emotions involved with losing all your content and energy put into a large old account like mine , after years of posting my life , best memories , sharing my experiences , best photos , being so raw and connecting with so many of you, I was worried they were going to delete all of my photos and my hard work and time , energy gone down the drain.”
She ended off the post by informing her followers that she would be “printing so many photos to have hard copies” of all of her memories that she had posted online.
