The retailer’s latest drop – spanning women’s, men’s and kids’ – contains a stylish mix of versatile winter pieces that can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. And, let’s be honest, the price is right!

Lazy Sunday
Good news: leisurewear is back in a big way. For women, tonal dressing will elevate your comfy basics and with a few accessories, you can even wear the same outfit as your traverse from couch to café. “You can instantly elevate your loungewear set with a chic trench coat, sneakers and black shoulder bag,” says McMillan. This applies to men, too: “Opt for a comfy jogger pant that will stretch with you as you move and pair it with a matching tee or sweatshirt for a stylish monotone look.”
On a lazy Sunday, it’s all about casual, easy-to-throw-on options for the kids. McMillan’s pick? Kmart’s kids joggers. “They are so soft and cozy, perfect for lounging around all day in – they might never want to take them off.”
Family date night
When you do want to leave the house, Kmart has options for the whole family. For the adults, McMillan recommends starting with a statement piece to dress up your look. “The featured floral skirt is so versatile and will last season after season. You can easily dress it up with a thick sweater for family date night out or down with a plain t-shirt and denim jacket for day-to-day wear.”
When it comes to the kids, it’s all about layering. “Jogger pants and bomber jackets always look cool on boys” and “don’t disregard a sleeveless dress when it comes to the cooler months – simply add a turtleneck underneath and a coat over top and you are all set!”
Weekend adventure
Gearing up for a weekend of exploring? Comfort is key. “Kids need to be comfortable when venturing out for the day. It’s important to give them the right amount of warmth without restricting their movement. We suggest this vest and shirt combination from Kmart, it’s the perfect balance for busy boys on the go.”
When in doubt, throw on a puffer jacket for both style and warmth. “The puffer jacket will be huge this year. We are noticing a shift from the typical dark winter tones like black and camel to soft pastel colours like blue.”
