Things became heated between Bride and Prejudice‘s Mary-Ann and her daughter Tori on Tuesday, with mum Mary-Ann storming out of an intense therapy session after an argument escalated out of control.

Posh mum Mary-Ann has been doing her best to end Tori’s relationship with tradie James on the series, urging her daughter to date a well-to-do professional man instead.
But when the pair sat down with therapist Leanne Hall, Mary-Ann couldn’t handle the home-truths that came up about her parenting after Tori revealed details around her childhood during the session.
Tori spoke about her younger years, claiming that Mary-Ann had never been there for her during certain traumatic events in her past.
But her mum wasn’t having any of it.
“You just want to blame someone else, especially me, for your mistakes,” Mary-Ann responded sternly.
Tori then said that her mother gave her a “lack of love” growing up.
“You don’t show love, you don’t show affection,” she said.
“You’ll push anyone else away to try and keep face for yourself.
“You would rather be horrible and nasty when you could just have pure love.”
Tori then broke into tears, and said that she “craved love” and “craved having a mother” as a child.
“I can never understand how you could be so cruel,” she sobbed.
Tori’s tears failed to move Mary-Ann who remained stone-faced and said that she was deflecting from her issues with James.
“What she’s saying does not make sense, she was the most-loved child,” Mary-Ann said coldly.
“I don’t remember what she’s talking about.”
She added: “I’m not gonna sit here and be character assassinated and nor am I going to listen to the lies, because they are lies.”
Things took a turn when Mary-Ann continued to ignore Tori’s pain and deflect, and Tori finally lost her cool.
“Wow, you’re good at playing this game, aren’t you?” Tori said through tears.
“Be real!” she screamed.
“What do you want, a f**king job on Home and Away or something you f***ing actor!”
With that, Mary-Ann left the session, leaving her daughter in tears.
“I don’t deserve that,” Mary-Ann snapped to a producer.
“I’m a mother at the end of the day. Show me the respect that I deserve.”
She added: “She needs to build a bridge and get over it, because I’m done.”
