The 17-year-old actress took to Instagram on Friday to post an image of herself standing on a bridge with her hands causally tucked into the pockets of her black jeans. She also wore a white singlet, white sneakers, a backpack and sunglasses resting on the top of her head to finish up the look.
The image was captioned with a cheeky, "What'd I miss?", in reference to her absence from social media.
The ex-Disney star quickly found support in fellow Disney stars Kayla Maisonet, 19, and Jenna Ortega, 15, who posted sweet comments underneath the image.
Maisonet wrote a simple yet effective "yesss biihh!!", white Ortega wrote, "Wow, you're really THAT beautiful"
Totah also confirmed her pronouns as being, "she, her and hers."
The actress revealed in the essay that since beginning her entertainment career, she had been asked by numerous reports "how it feels to be a young gay man," and the she felt like "I owed it to everybody to be that gay boy. But that has never been the way I think of myself."
Totah is best known for her roles on Disney's Jessie, as well as portraying Michael Patel on Mindy Kaling's comedy Champions. She has also had roles in Glee and Spiderman: Homecoming.
