He’s the tall, dark and handsome ‘Italian Stallion’ who found his happily ever after with fellow raven haired beauty Martha Kalifatidis on Married At First Sight.
But while life might seem rosy for Michael Brunelli, the 27-year-old has revealed his stint on reality TV was not without its challenges.
Speaking in a series of Instagram videos posted on Sunday, the primary school teacher sent a clear message about bullying to his 115,000 followers by opening up about the “truckload of hate” he received for his taste in clothes and willingness to show his feminine side whilst appearing on the social experiment.

“This is a message for any boy, any teenager and any grown man.
“If you wanna have a little bit of fun and put on some makeup, if you wanna paint your toenails or paint your partner’s toenails, if you wanna wear a pink bathrobe, dress something that’s a little bit out there or flamboyant, style your hair a little bit differently – go and do it!” he urged.
The self-assured TV personality reminded male viewers that having fun with their appearance and showing a softer side “doesn’t make you any less of a man” and stressed that anyone who takes issue with it “are the ones with the problem”.
Michael continued with a call to fans to be themselves without conforming, ending his address by giving a clear instruction to victims of bullying: “Do whatever makes you happy. If you’re in a position where people are bullying you and hating on you, cut them out of your life.”
Michael’s Kardashian lookalike bride voiced her support in the comment section, declaring her man to be “an angel”.
The videos come after reports emerged that the TV couple are taking their relationship to the next level by moving in together in Sydney.
Melbourne-based Michael is said to be relocating to the Harbour City to be closer to Bondi-based Martha.
