Inspirational iron woman and motivational speaker Turia Pitt has announced she’s planning to start a family with partner Michael – but says she’s ‘too busy’ to get married any time soon.
With her 30th birthday not far off, the amazing burns survivor says that she’s thrilled Michael has now been able to return to work as a builder, after years of helping her recover from her ordeal. And now she is thinking to the future about kids.
She says she’ll raise them with the philosophy that has helped her get through her own life challenges – no whinging under any circumstances.
‘That’s the reason I’m so resilient,’ she told Stellar magazine. ‘Kids need a bit of toughness to become mentally strong. I’ll be the disciplinarian and Michael will be the favourite parent. We’ll be a great team.’
