Tori Spelling may have finally caught a break in her years-long legal battle with City National Bank which is suing the celebrity and her husband Dean McDermott for failing to repay a $400,000 loan.
The embattled Hollywood actress has long faced crippling financial difficulties and was recently hit with a bench warrant for her arrest after she skipped out on a March 29 court hearing.
But Daily Mail reports the warrant has now been dropped in favour of a deposition scheduled for May 10.
The 90210 star will face questions under oath about her infamous finances, court documents obtained by the publication say.
Yet despite the dismissing of the warrant, the couple still owe more than $1million in total to creditors including the US IRS, California State and American Express, Daily Mail claims.
The mother-of-five skipped her court appearance in late March but days later was spotted jetting off on a holiday to Tel Aviv, Israel with her actress friend Jennie Garth.

Tori, 45, and Dean, 52, have endured a long-running struggle with their finances since their reality TV shows were axed, eliminating their main source of income.
Tori’s father, acclaimed film and TV producer Aaron Spelling, had a fortune of more than $500 million USD on his death in 2006 but left just $800,000 to his daughter.
His widow Candy, Tori’s estranged mother, inherited the estate.
In her book Spelling It Like It Is, Tori admitted to battling financial woes due to “poor real estate decisions” and the failure of her TV shows.
But the troubled celeb recently signed up for a reboot of the iconic 90210 series which made her famous, along with Jennie Garth and the majority of their former co-stars.
The new project is sure to be welcome news to Tori and Dean who raise five children together: Liam Aaron, Stella Doreen, Hattie Margaret, Finn Davey and Beau Dean.
Tori is also stepmother to Jack Montgomery McDermott, Dean’s son with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.
