Why Nicole Kidman has been BANNED from sons wedding

No room for 'suppressive persons'

Tom Cruise has banned his ex-wife Nicole Kidman from attending their adopted son Connor’s wedding, according to new reports.

RadarOnline claims Nicole is not welcome at the Scientology ceremony of Connor, 24, and his Italian-born bride-to-be Silvia – who has been dubbed a “Scientology Princess” because of her ardent faith in the controversial religion.

Tom is said to have made the call about Nicole’s invitation, or lack thereof, and “Connor followed”.

Per Daily Mail, former DJ Connor “worships the ground his father walks on” and is making Tom’s dreams come true by marrying a fellow Scientologist.

Since their 2001 divorce, Nicole has been notably absent from many major life events involving Connor and her adopted daughter, Isabella, who chose to remain with Cruise and were raised in the Church of Scientology.

For years, numerous reports have claimed Nicole is considered a “suppressive person” by the church.

The Big Little Lies star did not attend Isabella’s London wedding to Max Parker in 2015, and has come under fire in the past for omitting her adopted children in awards acceptance speeches – instead only referencing her two biological daughters Sunday and Faith who she shares with husband Keith Urban who she has been married to since 2008.

Nicole is rumoured to blame Scientology for the break down of her marriage to Cruise and for destroying her relationship with her adopted children.

The 51-year-old star is notoriously private about Connor and Isabella and previously opened up about their continued commitment to the church in an interview with WHO magazine.

“They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions.

“They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them.

“And I am an example of that tolerance and that’s what I believe – that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here.
“I think that’s so important because if that is taken away from a child, to sever that in any child, in any relationship, in any family – I believe it’s wrong. So that’s our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love.”
