Sticks and Wombat love a laugh, but as the best mates reveal, they often take it too far – and have the scars to show for it!
The boys erupt in laughter when discussing their near-death experiences with New Idea.
‘Oh yeah! How many do you want?’ Sticks jokes. ‘I went down a bobsled track naked in a garbage bin in Whistler. It’s kind of scary doing about 80km down a bobsled track!’
Wombat has a story to top his buddy’s – revealing he nearly lost an appendage.
‘I nearly lost my ear one time. That included plenty of stitches and a trip to the emergency room,’ he says.
‘We were rolling down a hill in a drum and it almost cut my earlobe off. It was for a bucks party, so I had to go to the wedding like that.’
Fatherhood was the only thing that reeled in the adrenaline junkies’ activities.
‘We like to have fun,’ Wombat says. ‘But things changed when we became parents.’
