Some say the path already taken is the ideal one to follow, and it looks like a certain reality TV star believes that too.

The Bachelor‘s Matt Agnew is set to take advice from Bachelor alums, Matty J, Laura Byrne, Snezana Wood and Sam Wood in next week’s episodes.

In the upcoming episode, the 32-year-old calls upon Snezana and Laura to help him decide a potential winner by inviting their favourite female contestant to join the group at dinner.

Matt, along with former bachelors Matty J and Sam, appeared to be surprised by the ladies’ choice.

“I’m a little surprised with who Laura and Snez have chosen,” Matt confessed in a piece-to-camera.

Former Bachelor Matty J concurred, saying, “She is quite the package. But she is also quite young.”

The new dad – who welcomed daughter Marlie-Mae Rose this year – also offered a hint at who it was by saying, “When I was 25, I definitely wasn’t ready to settle down.”

Perth health coach Helena Sauzier and China researcher Kristen Czyszek are the only 25-year-olds left on the show – meaning that one of these two beauties will be the lucky recipient of the dinner invitation.

In the clip, Matt can also be seen getting some helpful guidance from Sam and Matty J.

“Have you been pashing everyone?” Sam asks Matt – who appeared to have a slightly guilty expression.

According to Matty J, “Every rose ceremony gets harder and harder.”

Sam noted that playing the role of The Bachelor can be challenging.

“Most men don’t break up with 20 girls in their life.”

In another part of the clip, Matt can also be seen warmly greeting the Bachelor stars, saying, “Sam and Snezana, Laura and Matty J, I feel like I am in the presence of Bachelor royalty.”

Snezana – who is in one of the strongest relationships to come out of the popular reality TV show – also appeared to be worried about the task before her.

“There is a lot of pressure to pick one girl for Matt.”

The Bachelor continues on Channel Ten, Wednesday, 7.30pm.
