Rose Jacobs, the estranged wife of Weekend Today weatherman Steve Jacobs, has returned home to Australia to ‘restart’ her life in Sydney.
Taking to Instagram, Rose wrote: ‘About to take the leap!!! Leaving the Pacific Islands to restart a life in Aus. My beautiful girls by my side. #couldntbehappier‘
In another post, Rose revealed that she had bought a home in Bondi Beach.
Rose said, ‘HAPPY DANCE! Settlement has gone through five minutes ago on my new apartment in Bronte!!!!!!!! Pop the champagne!!!! Thank you to the most incredible family and friends who have supported me during this massive life changing process! You know who you are xxx’
Steve and Rose moved to Vanuatu in 2016 with their two daughters.
The weatherman retired from his full time role on Today for semi-retirement in Vanuatu, commuting back to Sydney for work on the weekend.
Reports claimed the couple parted ways in March, with a source telling the Daily Telegraph, ‘Steve and Rosie had such a public image of the perfect happy family but behind the scenes there were struggles that would put strain on even the best marriage.’
The former couple sold their five-bedroom matrimonial home in Coogee for a whopping $4.6 million in April, further cementing their split.
