In an emotional reunion special hosted by Seven’s Edwina Bartholomew, the fate of the four couples who participated in the controversial experiment was revealed.
Parents Michelle and Jason sadly disclosed they have decided to split.
‘At the end of the day we decided that we were going to separate,’ Michelle said through tears.
‘It got the stage where we kind of looked at each other and we just couldn’t try anymore.’
Despite the extreme nature of the experiment, all three other couples have remained together and all have exciting news!
Jackie is 26 weeks pregnant and planning a wedding with Tim who proposed after the show.
‘I’m excited, nervous, overwhelmed, emotional,’ Jackie said.
Ryan and Cassie are also expecting a baby after they revealed they discovered the pregnancy just a couple of days before filming.
‘We have been through such hardships with our pregnancies,’ Cassie confessed.
The most controversial couple of the series, Brad and Tallena, revealed they have married despite their wedding being called off before the show.
‘We’re an amazing couple, we’re a lot stronger for it,’ Brad says.
‘I was the main cause of the problem…I was definitely controlling.’
