Australia’s inaugural Bachelorette Sam Frost has spilled the beans on the hit reality show, effectively admitting she was required to fake feeling torn over the various men for the sake of TV drama, after deciding early on who she liked.
Offering up her advice for the newest rose-bearer Georgia Love, who makes her debut on screens tonight, Sam seemingly indicated the newest Bachelorette needs to be prepared to pretend to be interested in the contenders – confessing that despite what viewers saw, she knew Sasha was the only one for her from the moment they met on the show.
‘I felt it straight away with Sash – and I turned into a nervous wreck,’ Sam told Mia Freedman on No Filter.
Speaking about why she finally decided to sign up to do the Bachelorette after she was left dumped by Blake Garvey after winning The Bachelor, Sam says she always believed she would find The One on the show.
‘[The opportunity] kept presenting itself and presenting itself – and then I felt that the universe wasn’t going to keep presenting itself to me if he wasn’t going to be there,’ she reveals.
