Home and Away star Sam Frost has launched a website to help young people who are struggling with their mental health.

On Monday the 30-year-old former Bachelorette unveiled Believe by Sam Frost, a platform designed to be a “safe space” for anyone feeling isolated or alone, Daily Mail Australia reports.

The site is geared towards young women with a specific focus on the dangers of social media and how to cope with the pressures of the online world.

Sam’s latest venture is a cause close to her heart, with the stunner speaking candidly about her own struggles with depression and anxiety on many occasions.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph about her new project, the blonde bombshell said she worked hard to develop the website in collaboration with mental health experts.

“We are talking to mental health professionals opening up about navigating social media, which people can sometimes struggle with.

“Social media can be a really lonely place. People are constantly comparing their lives to unrealistic realities.”

Sam also admitted she was thankful to have grown up during a time without Instagram and other social media apps, revealing she “can’t even imagine” what life is like for young girls today.

The news comes weeks after Sam took to Instagram to gush about her longterm boyfriend Dave Bashford.

“I love you for so many reasons, but the number 1 reason is because we have the same dumb humour. Thank you for being my weirdo & making me laugh every single day,” she wrong, alongside a stunning snap for the couple’s holiday in Fiji.

In an interview with WHO Magazine Sam spoke about her relationship with Dave, explaining how: “We’re in a really good place, we’re the best of mates, we laugh all the time.”

Sam also credit’s Dave for helping her deal with her anxiety and depression.

“He’s the one to pick up the pieces after a breakdown or anxiety attack,” she said previously.
