With two sons, the eldest barely out of his teens, Russell Crowe no doubt didn’t expect to be marrying either of them off any time soon.
But going by his younger boy Tennyson’s social media posts, he had better get his father-of-the-groom speech well and truly prepped!

Despite being just 17, Rusty’s boy has prompted speculation he’s proposed to his long-time girlfriend Jess Renshaw.
Tennyson shared a loved-up image of the pair to his Instagram earlier this month and included a diamond ring and white and pink heart emojis as the caption. He also describes Jessa as his “muse.”
New Idea is exclusively told that while Russell, 59, “adores” Jessa and already considers her part of the family, he is concerned that Tennyson is too young to get married.
“She is a sweetheart and it’s pretty clear that she has swept Tennyson off his feet,” says a source.
“But Russell will certainly be a little surprised if it’s true that his 17-year-old son is getting engaged. It’s nothing to do with Jessa, but just that Tennyson is just a kid.”
Still, it’s clear that Jess – who counts media mogul Mia Freedman’s daughter Coco as a close friend – is already firmly in the Crowe crew fold.
She joined Russell and his partner Britney Theriot on a family trip to Rome last year, where they saw the sights on rented scooters and fine-dined every day.
Still, Russell has his reservations about Tennyson and Jessa saying “I do” too soon.
“Russell is still particuarly wary after his own divorce “from both Tennyson and 20-year-old Charles’ mother, [Danielle Spencer] and the last thing that he wants is for his kids to go through that,” stresses the insider.
“It’s easy to get swept up in your first romance but they’re going to have to do some convincing that they know what they’re doing before they manage to get his approval.”
Despite their split, Russell and Danielle are said to be united in their feelings about Tennyson having marriage on his mind.
“They’re still teenagers and need their parents on side to wed,” says the source.
“Russell and Danielle know they have to be firm but fair – allowing the young love to flourish, within reason.”
