Rupert Murdoch has been injured in a shock boating accident.
Rupert and his wife Jerry Hall were enjoying an outing on his son Lachlan’s yacht Sarrisa in Saint Barts.
As the media mogul attempted to make his way to the bathroom in the middle of the night, he suffered a fall.
He was later airlifted from the Caribbean to a hospital in Los Angeles.
The incident left Rupert bedridden with a broken vertebrae and a spinal hematoma.
Murdoch’s children were left in a panic following the near-fatal fall as his wife Jerry told the children to ‘make peace’ with their father with his life in jeopardy.
Doctors quickly performed a successful operation just weeks after Murdoch and Bob Iger agreed to the sale of Fox assets to Disney.
