Renee Zellweger admitted just recently that she’d “love” to reprise her beloved Bridget Jones.
And now the reality of a fourth film just became very real indeed.
When quizzed about adding to the franchise, Renee admitted on Lorraine this week, “I don’t know. I know Helen (Fielding)’s written the book. It means there’s a possibility.”
When we last left her in Bridget Jones’ Baby, she’d split with Colin Firth’s Mark Darcy and proceeded to have a one night stand with Patrick Dempsey’s Jack Qwant.
Of course, Bridget ended up pregnant – but to who?
Hugh Grant’s wickedly wonderful Daniel Clever – the third point in the OG love triangle with Bridget and Mark – was killed off in a plane crash.
But we do wonder, did he fake his death? Let’s hope so!
