The reason behind Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi split with fiancé Dimitri Rassam has been revealed.
Reports claim the pair – who welcomed a baby boy just months ago – went their separate ways because their personalities are fundamentally ‘incompatible’.
A source revealed to Hola!: ‘They both have very strong characters and after the birth of the child, they’ve realised that the relationship just isn’t working.’

The pair are reportedly longtime friends who had reconnected at the end of 2016 when mutual friends set up a Christmas dinner for them in Paris.
Charlotte and Dimitri became engaged in March 2018 while away on a ski trip together but didn’t rush to announce the news. Instead, Charlotte subtly hinted towards their engagement by wearing a diamond ring when the couple attended the annual Bal de la Rose together.
People has previously reported that the couple were looking at spring dates for the wedding and would have two ceremonies; one civil ceremony in Monaco and then a larger family wedding at a private vineyard on the Italian island of Pantelleria.
Aside from her newborn son, Charlotte also has a 5-year-old boy named Raphaël with comedian Gad Elmaleh.
Dimitri also has another child, 7-year-old daughter Darya who he had from his former marriage to Russian model Masha Novoselova.
